Interwoven: Mommy and Me Storytime

Special Operations Forces Families are invited to join The Station Foundation’s Interwoven community for Mommy and Me Storytime, a meaningful and engaging program designed for families with children ages 2-6.

The benefits of storytime extend far beyond early literacy and cognitive development. Reading together fosters social, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive growth while strengthening the bond between parent and child. Through reading together, families practice healthy listening, explore emotions, build emotional awareness, and fluency in a safe, nurturing environment.

Mommy and Me Storytime offers a calming, stress-reducing opportunity for parents and children to connect, slow down, and enjoy quality time together.

New to Interwoven events with The Station? Welcome! Please note that our outStation staff will be in contact with you to share our mission and confirm your Special Operations Forces affiliation.

10:30 AM - 11:30 AM Story Hour and Activities

Event Details:
Children of all ages are welcome. The content is most suitable for ages 3-6.
Dress in comfortable clothes and anticipate sitting on the floor.
At least one parent must remain present.
Each family is asked to bring a bedsheet to build a fort. Dark color options are preferred.
All materials will be provided.

Please invite a friend within the Special Operations Community who is new to The Station.

This is a first come first serve event with a maximum capacity of 7 families. We kindly request a cancellation notice no less than 72 hours prior to the event. Thank you for your consideration.

When registering for an event, all required fields on the order form must be completed in entirety. Incomplete order forms will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding and helping us ensure event security and the highest quality experience possible.
