Interwoven: Forest Bathing and Balancing Breathwork
Join us in an evidence-based wellness practice, forest bathing (from Japanese,” shinrin-yoku”), which is growing in popularity throughout Colorado and around the world. This practice is also known as nature and forest therapy or nature immersion. Forest bathing encourages spending time in nature in a way that invites healing interactions that serve both people and the environment. The guided walk with our certified guide, Jane Scanlon, from Above the Clouds Forest Bathing offers thoughtfully crafted prompts and invitations to step out of the noise, distraction, and information overload that life often holds to immerse in the beneficial atmosphere of a natural setting. As we slow down, let the busy mind quiet and open the senses and imagination through a simple sequence that helps deepen our relationship with the natural world, ourselves and others. The physical and mental health benefits of forest bathing continue to emerge as the body of research grows. Well documented studies show benefits such as lowered blood pressure, decreased anxiety and stress (cortisol) hormone levels, improved immune, cardiovascular and nervous system functioning and often improved focus, sleep, creativity and all-around JOY! During the walk we will learn and explore the power of balancing breathwork and stillness for mental clarity.

Additional Info:
- Come dressed in casual, easy to move in, "play"clothing.
- Sunscreen, hats and water for proper hydration are highly encouraged.
- No experience is necessary.
- Snacks and water will be provided.
