Interwoven: Exploring the Power of Woodworking for Self Care

Interwoven: Woodworking for Self Care is a workshop for Special Operation Forces Spouses. This class will offer the opportunity to challenge ourselves by learning new skills in the art of woodworking. Participants will have the opportunity to begin with raw materials, then utilize a number of tools to create your own hand-made creative charcuterie board.
At this class, you will be led by a master craftsman, learning the fundamentals of woodworking to create this project. Enjoy hands-on work with the jointer, planer, table saw, router table, and orbital sander! You will leave with newfound confidence in your ability to use powerful tools in the creation of something both useful and beautiful.
Event Details:

11:00 AM Arrival and Welcome to The Station
11:15 - 5:00 PM Woodworking Class/ Break/ Discussion

Please wear closed toed shoes and comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
Dress for the weather as the woodshop is typically the same temperature as outside.
Food and drink will be provided.

This is a first come first serve event with a maximum capacity of 12 Spouses. We kindly request a cancellation notice no less than 72 hours prior to the event. Thank you for your consideration.
