This event is open to Special Operations Forces Spouses. SOF confirmation is required to register and attend.About this Event
Special Operations Forces Spouses are invited to spend the evening with The Station Foundation to learn to crochet a chunky yarn blanket and learn about relaxing rituals.
Join us for a cozy and creative 3-hour workshop where you'll learn the art of crocheting and create a beautiful, warm blanket to enjoy this winter. No prior experience is necessary, making this workshop suitable for beginners and seasoned crafters alike. Choose from a selection of soft, luxurious yarns to create a personalized blanket that matches your style and decor. At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a cherished handmade blanket, a tangible reminder of the fun and creativity shared during the workshop.
Throughout the evening, participants will learn about healthy sleep and beneficial routines before bed. Sleep hygiene is a catchall term for habits and behaviors that impact sleep quality. Practicing healthy sleep hygiene can help people fall asleep more quickly, remain asleep throughout the night, and feel refreshed in the morning. Practicing good sleep hygiene helps ensure you reap all the benefits of a good night’s rest. Health aside, good sleep hygiene also helps you perform well the following day. People who get an adequate amount of sleep generally have sharper concentration and a stronger memory. Come join us for an evening of crafting, connecting, and learning together.
