Interwoven: Book Club for SOF Spouses
Special Operations Forces Spouses are invited to join The Station's Book Club as we unpack the wisdom of The Choice by Dr. Edith Eger. Through this autobiographical novel, we will:
Reflect on our ability to choose how we respond to events in our past
Establish greater appreciation for all emotions
Evaluate our inner dialogue and how it shapes our reality
Choose how we respond to conflict and difficult circumstances
Find freedom in letting go of the past rather than holding onto resentment
Cultivate gratitude
During each session, participants will share coffee, engage in meaningful conversation, and grow deeper in a rich community with other spouses. For those who commit to attending all three book discussions, we will end our book club with a candle-making opportunity with Rustic Pine Candle Co.

Event Details:
- A copy of The Choice will be provided for each registered participant.
- Books will be distributed on Thursday, January 16th.
- For participants that attend all discussions, we will have a capstone candle making opportunity at our last meeting.
- To ensure the quality of our conversation and the most significant program impact, we kindly ask that you come prepared to discuss each session's reading assignment and complete the corresponding journal questions.
- By registering for this event, you are committing to attend all four sessions. Thank you for your consideration.
