Sri Kala

HEADLINING ACT:

Music & Dance, blending elements of hip hop, dub reggae, rock, R&B, and Afrobeat

Sri Kala is a music artist and creative guide, blending influences from his Brooklyn upbringing and Caribbean heritage. His journey from skateboarding to spiritual awakening as a Hare Krishna monk shapes his diverse sound. Through his music and workshops, he inspires personal growth and authentic self-expression, with his "Unravel" album embodying this mission.

WORKSHOP:

Unravel Session: Vocal Toning, Movement & Expression Without Limits

Join Sri Kala for a moment of Unravel and explore the edges of your authentic creative expression. Through vocal toning and movement, we will time-travel on the waves of creative chaos and form, uncovering new layers of self-expression.

This is an invitation to reconnect with the essence of who you are—beyond algorithms, beyond programming, beyond the noise. A creative ceremony where we dance with our shadows and celebrate our gifts. Using vocal play, movement, and touch, you will make meaningful connections and tune into the pulse of the earth, transforming your voice into a healing tool—a blessing for yourself, the land, and the people around you.

Together, we will soften into the spaces where tension still lingers, infusing love into the places we once avoided, and opening more deeply into our bodies than ever before. Join us for a workshop that will empower you to express your true voice and experience the power of a collective that honors your individual journey.

WORKSHOP:

Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Seasons: SPRING into Creativity

In this workshop, we will honor the Spring Equinox by exploring the wisdom of the Chinese 5 Elements and how we can align ourselves with the energy of this vibrant season. Spring is a time of renewal, growth, and creativity, and in this session, we will dive into the energetics of Spring and how they influence our mind, body, and spirit. Mind: We’ll explore the emotions tied to this season—particularly the polarity of anger—and how we can harness this energy as a tool for growth and transformation. Spirit: We will connect with the spirit of the Hun (our ethereal soul) and learn how its influence manifests in our lives, guiding us toward a deeper understanding of our inner selves. Body: Through the exploration of herbal remedies that support the Liver and Gallbladder—key organs in Chinese medicine during Spring—we will uncover ways to nurture these systems for optimal health. We’ll also dive into acupressure points that help balance and harmonize the body’s energy. As Spring invites us to make plans and decisions that align with our heart’s passionate mission, this workshop will provide the tools to step into the season with self-awareness, clarity, and healing. Join us in cultivating a deeper connection to both ourselves and our community, embracing the power of renewal and the wisdom of the natural world.
