About this Event
The Trinity Hall Hesperides Society is proud to welcome TV producer Christopher Hall for an interview and audience Q&A on Friday 7th March at 6pm.
Christopher Hall is a TV producer who has worked on notable British dramas for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky, and is best-known for producing ITV’s hit drama The Durrells, starring Keeley Hawes. He most recently produced The Day of the Jackall, starring Eddie Redmayne and Lashana Lynch; the contemporary adaptation of Frederick Forsyth’s 1971 novel received two Golden Globe nominations and has been renewed for a second season. Son of Sir Peter Hall, founder of the Royal Shakespeare Company, and legendary French actress and dancer Leslie Caron, Christopher began his career as an assistant director before working his way up through the grades to take on fully-fledged producer roles. He has collaborated with Jed Mecurio (Line of Duty, Bodyguard) twice: first in 2015, on CRITICAL, and again on Bloodlands (2021-2022).
With a career spanning three decades, he remains a leading figure in the British television industry and is excited to pass on his insight to the next generation of storytellers. After the interview ends, we will open the floor to questions.
NOTE: Tickets do NOT include entrance to our Annual Society Dinner, which will take place after the talk ends.
