In celebration of the 75th anniversary of Newfoundland and Labrador joining Canada, Kittiwake proudly presents Intersections, a collection of newly commissioned contemporary ballet works by esteemed Canadian choreographers, each with a unique connection to our province: James Kudelka, Christopher House, Syreeta Hector, and Kittiwake's new Artistic Director, Yukichi Hattori. These works mark a new era for Kittiwake, celebrating our expanding artistic community and the intersection of past and present collaborators. Join us for this special occassion as we unveil a memorable program of original works, showcasing the artists of Kittiwake Dance.
This production is presented in partnership with Neighbourhood Dance Works and the Festival of New Dance and is suitable for all ages.
Happy to perform two shows on Oct 4th of this program:
10:30 AM: shorter, relaxed performance (50 mins)
7:30 PM: full program with intermission
