Join Twin Cities in Motion and Mile in My Shoes for a panel discussion with mental health professionals and folks who have sought running to improve physical and mental health in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.
This panel will be moderated by Katie Mark, founder of On The Mark Therapy and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who couples exercise with mental health treatment through her practice.
Panel participants will include TC Pride 5K Race Coordinator Jamie Cooper, Union Gospel Mission Assistant Clinical Director Gina Landsee, and Mile in My Shoes members Chad Fennern, Greg Kasten and Jamie Cooper.
They will share their running stories, discuss how running can positively impact mood, and more. Audience members will also have the opportunity to ask panelists questions during an open Q&A. Light snacks will be provided!
Date: Monday, May 20th, 2024, 6 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.
