About this Event
Engaged employees perform at a higher level. Organizations striving to increase employee engagement must create cultures where everyone feels respected, valued, psychologically safe and has a sense of belonging. Microaggressions interrupt belonging, disrupt employee well-being, and erode trust, creating a toxic culture if left unaddressed. According to research on belonging, people managers “carry the organizational culture” and must develop the skills needed to recognize, interrupt and address microaggressions.
"Interrupting and Addressing Microaggressions for People Managers" equips leaders with practical knowledge, skills, and tools to effectively navigate and address microaggressions. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the types of microaggressions and learn strategies to address, repair and prevent the harm caused by these exclusionary behaviors. Designed specifically for leaders, this course clarifies their responsibilities in managing microaggressions in the workplace.
