About this Event
You’re invited to WORK180’s International Women’s Day Summit 2026.
A summit of ideas, connection and practical gender equity strategies.
This year, we’re bringing together leaders, advocates, and changemakers for a day that’s as entertaining as it is inspiring. Hosted by the brilliantly funny Lizzy Hoo, the summit will spark bold conversations about gender equity, while celebrating the employers who are setting the standard for progress.
Expect fresh ideas, practical strategies, and plenty of laughter as we dive into what it takes to build workplaces where women thrive. From panel discussions with trailblazing employers to open conversations with peers, you’ll walk away energised, connected, and equipped with innovative solutions you can put into practice.
And because no great summit is complete without a little celebration, you’ll also enjoy:
- A delicious two-course lunch and drinks
- Interactive panels and Q&A sessions
- Fun networking opportunities
- Exciting door prizes from incredible organisations
We know that achieving gender equity requires everyone at the table. That’s why we’ve set a 40% target for male participation and encourage you to bring along colleagues who are ready to play an active role in building a more equal future.
Tickets close midnight 27 February 2026. Don’t miss out!

About the event host
Lizzy Hoo
Comedian / Writer / Presenter / Actor
Lizzy Hoo is many things: a noodle enthusiast, sports lover, designer, and proud rescue greyhound owner.
She’s also one of Australia’s most in-demand comedians, presenters, writers, and actors. Since her first foray into stand-up in 2017, Lizzy has skyrocketed to success with her sharp observational humour, quick wit, and relatable storytelling.
You may have seen her on Network 10’s Have You Been Paying Attention? and The Cheap Seats, ABC’s Question Everything and The Weekly, Channel Nine’s The Hundred with Andy Lee, or SBS’s The Cook Up with Adam Liaw. Her stand-up has featured at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Galas and on Just For Laughs Australia.
In 2022, Lizzy released her stand-up special Hoo Cares on Amazon Prime Video to critical acclaim, earning a nomination for Best Stand-Up Special at the 2024 AACTAs.
Whether on stage or on screen, Lizzy has a knack for turning life’s quirks into comedy gold. Her confidence, warmth, and humour make her the perfect host for this year’s summit—guiding us through important conversations with a generous dose of laughter.
