After careers in athletics and health, she followed her passion for painting, building a successful art career by embracing risk, community support, and creative visibility. Today, Sarah owns a downtown gallery that not only showcases her large-scale coastal paintings but also serves as a platform for other artists to grow and thrive. Her story is one of pivoting with purpose, giving generously to her community, and gaining momentum, opportunity, and artistic influence in return.
Renee Walter, Our Opening Speaker, brings a powerful perspective shaped by decades of leadership, public speaking, and life transitions. Her journey reflects the heart of Give to Gain, embracing change, giving fully in every season, and trusting that new opportunities often emerge when plans shift. From ministry and national leadership to chaplaincy, writing, and community engagement, Renee's story is a testament to resilience, reinvention, and the growth that comes from saying yes to what's next.
