International Women's Day Breakfast - Rise Rebuild Renew

San Fernando Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated proudly presents the 2025 International Women’s Day Breakfast, an unforgettable, soul-stirring celebration of excellence, leadership, and legacy. This year’s theme, “Rise, Rebuild, Renew: Empowering Communities After the Fires,” will focus on supporting Southern California wildfire relief efforts, with a particular emphasis on assisting Altadena’s historic African American communities. A portion of the proceeds will directly support wildfire recovery efforts, while also funding scholarships and transformative community programs that uplift and empower. Join us as we honor greatness, spark change, and rise together.This event is in partnership with Delta Research and Education Foundation.

San Fernando Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was charted on May 20, 1978, by 21 pioneering women. SFVA has been servicing the the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Burbank area for 47 years.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 13, 1913 by 22 collegiate women. The sorority is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. The sorority currently has over 1,050 collegiate and alumnae chapters located worldwide with over 350,000 members.
