Celebrate International Women’s Day 2026 with us under the global theme ‘Give To Gain’, an evening of empowerment, generosity, and collective impact.

For many years, Intercultural Dialogue Institute - Ottawa (IDI-Ottawa) has proudly organized International Women’s Day as one of its signature events, championing women’s empowerment and strengthening its role in building an inclusive, connected community.

When we give, we gain.

Join us for an inspiring gathering dedicated to community connection, meaningful dialogue and intentional giving. Giving is not subtraction; it is purposeful growth. In honour of International Women’s Day, we recognize that when women and girls thrive, we all rise.

As part of IDI-Ottawa’s cultural and community engagement series, the evening will include a special Iftar dinner, welcoming guests of all backgrounds to experience the spirit of Ramadan in unity and reflection.

This is more than a celebration, it’s a call to action.

When we give respect, opportunity and support, we gain much more.

Event Highlights

● Open to all (ages15+) are welcome

● Complimentary Iftar dinner served (vegetarian options available)

● Seating available on a first-come, first-served basis

● Dress Code: Modest / Business Casual attire

● Parking available on-site

● Free-will donations are welcome and can be made on site. Proceeds will be given to the Caldwell Family Center.
