September was chosen to represent International Underground Railroad Month because it was the month two of the most well known freedom seekers and Underground Railroad operatives escaped freedom, Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass. To celebrate join authors David Meyers and Elise Meyers Walker to discuss their research and work on Tales of Ohio’s Underground Railroad, the Reverse Underground Railroad in Ohio, and Historic Black Settlements of Ohio.
