IUPD is a global celebration of the unique Irish pipes or ‘uilleann pipes’ which takes annually on the first Saturday in November. This is a co-ordinated day of piping activities and events organised by Na Píobairí Uilleann aimed at raising awareness for this iconic Irish instrument and celebrating uilleann piping communities and enthusiasts around the world. ~ Piping Workshop (3:00 PM)
~ Try the Pipes (6:00 PM)
~ Irish Music Session - all instruments (7:00 PM)
All are welcome to these events, whether you're a piper, play another instrument, or are simply interested in learning more about the pipes and Irish traditional music!
