The uilleann (pronounced ILL-in) pipes are the national bagpipe of Ireland, and the quieter, sweeter cousin to the Scottish highland pipes. They are played sitting down, and the bag is inflated by pumping bellows strapped to the elbow, rather than blowing by mouth. Come join the Boston Uilleann Pipers Club as we celebrate International Uilleann Piping Day!Try the pipes 1-1:50pm
Traditional Irish session (open to all, not just pipers) 2-4pm
