Have you ever sat there enjoying a delicious Belgian Tripel and wondered why this style isn't more widely celebrated? We certainly have, usually while staring blankly at the wall after our second glass.Fortunately, some bloody legend created International Tripel Day, and we are more than happy to jump on the bandwagon. On Tuesday, March 3 (it is the 3rd of the 3rd, get it?) we are turning the taps over to the heavy hitters.
The star of the show is a very special project. For our tenth birthday, we teamed up with the Belgian specialists at Madocke Beer Brewing Company to create the "Mad Monk": a Red Tripel blended with White Oat’s Orange Maple Rum. It is complex, boozy, and dangerously smooth. We will be pouring the collaboration alongside the base beer so you can see exactly what that rum influence does to the brew.
Whether you are a Belgian purist or just looking for a very slow Wednesday morning, this is the lineup you have been waiting for.
