All ages - join us for the kickoff of our celebration of Week of the Child/Semana del niño! Travel around the world learning about community members' cultures, countries, and customs while sampling teas and enjoying a small snack. Local musician Elisa Garcia will play Latin American Folk Songs from 2:30-3:30pm.
About Día
Our weeklong observance is inspired by El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), a celebration every day of children, families, and reading. Día promotes literacy for children of all linguistic cultures and backgrounds.
