About this Event
Are you interested in becoming an International Student Mentor in the summer and fall?
The International Student Mentor position will be a paid position (up to 15 hours throughout summer/fall terms) in which mentors will meet with an international student mentee throughout the fall semester and attend events and workshops as well. Training will be held in advance of the position starting. Mentors must apply before May 15.
The mentorship program is a semester-long structured program which begins the month before new international students’ arrival and ends after their first semester. All incoming international students are encouraged to participate in the program as mentees, and participation is voluntary. Mentors are students from different disciplines and academic levels, who have been enrolled in the University for at least one year.
