Come and learn about poems from around the world and workshop your own poetic & creative writing in a friendly & relaxed environment. The first hour of the workshop is dedicated to sharing poems from around the world and discussion. During the second hour you will have time to work on your own writing and get feedback on your work. Workshops will be led by Familia's volunter Kayleigh Töyrä.The workshops will be held in English, but you will also have the chance to share poetry from your own culture with others.
The workshop will take place on the 2nd Saturday of every month until June from 14-16 on the following dates: 9.1, 13.2, 13.3, 10.4, 8.5, 12.6. You can sign up for all the workshops or just one.

As the situation regarding the coronavirus pandemic is still uncertain, the workshops will be held either in person or online depending on the current situation. We will let you know by the beginning of January regarding the first workshop.
