International Observe the Moon Night is a worldwide celebration of lunar science & exploration, as well as the moon in arts and culture. Join Longway Planetarium staff and For-Mar Naturalists to explore crater science, moon maps, sketch the moon, and investigate the trails for nocturnal animals, all by headlamp or flashlight. Red filters will be available for your lights to protect night vision.
