Join The Dublin Jazz Co-op for their incredibly popular International Jazz Day Celebration. This year, we are excited to announce our collaboration with the Improvised Music Company in hosting the event in their amazing new performance space, The Cooler in the city centre!
This night will include two sets of incredible music featuring a celebration of female composers as well as fresh new arrangements of classic tunes from the swing era all performed by a stellar line up of the best Irish jazz musicians.
The line-up includes a powerhouse frontline saxophone pairing of Michael Buckley and Hayley Kavanagh, prodigious vocals from Aleka Potinga and Luisa Annibali and a driving rhythm section of Chris Guilfoyle on guitar, Eoin O’Halloran on bass and Michael McCarthy on drums. With all these great players combined, we’re sure this is going to be a night you won’t soon forget.
