International Gangs: MS-13, 18th Street, Tren de Aragua & More

The Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), 18th Street, and Tren de Aragua are some of the most violent and dangerous gangs in the world. The reach of these gangs now extends throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. In the case of MS-13, this vicious gang has now begun to establish themselves in Europe, as well.

All of these gangs use a variety of crimes to make their way into neighborhoods and use violence to take over these neighborhoods. These gangs has gradually turned to transnational crimes such as human smuggling and drug trafficking. The US Government labels them as a "transnational criminal organization."

Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), 18th Street, and Tren de Aragua have grown over the years into some of the largest, most organized, gangs in the world.

Upon completion of this training, students will understand the following:

5. The safety tactics used by Law Enforcement when dealing with various gangs.

7. The differences between various gang graffiti.

8. Investigative tips on how to interact with members of various gangs, including MS-13, 18th Street, and Tren de Aragua.
