Start your training by participating in the 5-day intensive workshop in the beautiful Yarra Ranges in Victoria, just an hour's drive from Melbourne.
During the 5-day experiential and reflection workshop you will:
1. Get an overview of the history and evidence-based practice of Forest Therapy and gain access to the latest research and case studies with a right balance of science.
2. Learn the Art of Forest Therapy Guiding to skillfully curate and facilitate immersive Nature and Forest Therapy experiences, workshops and retreats.
3. Experience and learn sensory and creative awareness and facilitation skills.
4. Get guidance and learn legal, ethical, logistical, social, cultural and business practices from experienced practitioners and educators.
5. Learn the essentials of risk assessment, liability insurance, and working on public and private lands
6. Receive professional support, insight, confidence and inspiration to offer nature and Forest Therapy individual, private and group sessions, workshops and retreats.
7. Get access and instruction to the interactive online Learning Management System (LMS) to continue your mentored practicum.

International Core Curriculum of Forest Therapy (ICCFT):
Designed to take you on a journey of discovery spanning decades of science and research, this training introduces experiential, creative, practical, and theoretical aspects of Forest Therapy.
Delve deep into the Japanese concept of "Shinrin Yoku" as well as the standards set in the International Core Curriculum for Forest Therapy.

The program consists of a six-month blended training course preceded by a five-day in-person training that guarantees international certification of Forest Therapy Guides. INFTA professional training specializes in key competencies for guiding Forest Therapy walks, grounded in nature connection practices, appropriate pedagogy, scientific underpinnings and environmental stewardship.
