Ashton Gate will host England men’s under-21s in their final UEFA EURO qualifying campaign game against Azerbaijan on Tuesday, October 15th (7.30pm).The Young Lions, currently in second place, are aiming to finish in top spot to secure qualification for next summer’s U21 EURO Finals in Slovakia and with adult prices from just £15, it promises to be an exciting and affordable evening at Ashton Gate.
The Under-21s last visit to Ashton Gate saw a 1-1 draw with Poland in March 2019 when Dominic Calvert-Lewin opened the scoring. Their previous game in BS3 before that came back in August 2007 when Stuart Pearce’s side drew 1-1 with Romania. Matt Derbyshire opened the scoring that night, before a Joe Hart own goal saw the game finish all square.
