International FLAT Day 2025

The celebration and camaraderie begins Friday evening with a Meet & Greet at the local mainstay, The Crow's Nest Restaurant & Bar, overlooking the Santa Cruz Harbor and sea. Healing and community follow with a Sound Bath (led by flattie Brittany Armas) and a beach bonfire.

Saturday morning starts at the iconic Beach Boardwalk where you can ride California's oldest roller coaster, The Giant Dipper, the historic Looff Carousel, and take place in a group photo opp! (Ride tickets will be available the day of for $8 and $7 respectively.) At noon we set sail on the picturesque Monterey Bay for a lively 2-hour sail with lunch, mimosas, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks included.

After a little R&R, get ready to meet at 5pm for the main event - the IFD Dinner Gala - at the famous Cocoanut Grove.

The weekend activities end Sunday morning with an empowering "FLAT Walk" on Santa Cruz's popular West Cliff trail, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean! And then it will be time for goodbyes.

*Although most events are free to all participants, please purchase your tickets here on Eventbrite for the Monterey Bay Sail and IFD Dinner Gala.
