International Flamenco Day has been celebrated annually in November since 2010, which commemorates the date when UNESCO designated flamenco as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
💃Kari Alba and Alma Flamenca present two evenings of performances honouring the cultural richness and authenticity of the art with Duendecillo performers hailing from Cadiz, Spain:

José Vega (flamenco guitar)

🌌Duendecillo, a performance ensemble made up of performers from Cadiz, Spain and Saskatoon, has prepared their third program of flamenco art entitled "Camelar".
The evening will feature Fernandao Gallego "El Bancalero" (vocals),
José Vega (guitar),
Kari Alba (dancer)
and a number of advanced students from Alba's company
Alma Flamenca including Pilar Alejandra Alba, Colleen Kastning, Rusty McCaig and Victoria Beaudin.

featuring:
Alma Flamenca students of all ages, performers from Spain in Duendecillo and Kari Alba.
