Saturday, May 4th is International Firefighters Day, and we invite you to commemorate it with us. This acknowledgement has been observed on May 4th every year since 1999. The relevance of the date stems from the feast day of St. Florian, commonly known as the Patron Saint of Firefighters and chimney sweeps.
Join us in showing our utmost appreciation to our Firefighters by dressing in all things red and attending our 9th "Back the Blue Backs the Red" Firefighters Appreciation Rally:

Our First Responders endure a wide range of inclement weather to serve and protect us, so our rally in their honor will take place no matter what. RAIN OR SHINE! We'll have mini Red Line flags to give out, snacks, drinks, music, and some fun items from our gift shop available for purchase. As always, this is a free, family-friendly event, and we'll have plenty of extra flags to wave for those who want to join us on the sidewalks! Our flag-waving, talking, dancing robot, Meccanoid, will be decked out in his fire hat, and he loves having his picture taken!
Please help us spread the word and join us for a wonderfully fun-filled afternoon in honor of all our heroic fire fighting crews! We'd love to see some firetrucks drive by if they're able to, so if you see them this week, be sure to thank them for their service and invite them to cruise by our rally! Hope to see you all there!
