Società Nazionale Debate Italia is proud to announce the first International World Schools tournament for high school students to ever take place in Italy! Welcome to the first edition of the WSD Tournament "Maria Amato", a competition honoring the intellectual rigor, creativity, and passion of an outstanding human and one of the pioneers of Debate in Italy. To remember her and her commitment in the early stages of the Italian Debate community's life, we want to bring together teams from around the world to showcase skills, expand horizons, and connect with fellow debaters.

Event details:
Dates: 7th - 9th February 2025
Location & Venues: Monza, Italy. Debates will happen in Mosè Bianchi, Pino Hensemberger and Paolo Frisi High Schools
Accomodation: Hotel B&B (3 stars) - breakfast included.
Registration fee (including 2 nights at Hotel B&B + 4 meals):
- Debaters: 135 €
- Coaches: 160 €
- Judges: 85 €
Teams can request one additional night at the time of registration at 37€ per person.
Eligibility rules:
Students enrolled in high school can be registered in teams of 3 to 5 debaters.
The N=1 rule applies. Penalty fee for teams without judge: 100€
Team CAP: 40
Deadline for registration: 10th November
