INTERNATIONAL COMEDY SHOWCASEJoin us for a fun and cosy Sunday afternoon in the heart of Utrecht! This is our Season Finale!! So come and have a laugh at the last show before the summer break.
Mad Cow Comedy hosts an afternoon of stand-up comedy performed by various international acts, all performing in English. Utrecht-based comedian, Rachel Morton-Young, introduces a different mix of comedians every 2 weeks, so no two shows are ever the same.
Kartoffel:
Our show now takes place in the Biergarten at Kartoffel, a German-themed restaurant along the historic Oudegracht (only a 10 minutes walk from Utrecht Central Station). The venue has great, affordable food, so considering coming early for lunch, or staying for a bite after the show.
Line-up 1st June:
🎤 Elena Popa – A Romanian expat living in Amsterdam, Elena’s comedy is clever, dark, and deliciously direct. She turns everyday topics like toilet paper and tech into sharp, witty punchlines.
🎤 Diego Loiacono – Italian-born and Amsterdam-based, Diego brings dry charm and goofy energy to the stage. He figured if he’s going to say silly things, he might as well do it in front of a crowd.
🎤 Mohna Joshi – Originally from India and now proudly Dutch, Mohna’s comedy is full of sass, sparkle, and hilarious dating adventures. She’s performed everywhere from New York to Bangkok – and now, Kartoffel!
🌟 HEADLINER: Tim Hill – A witty wordsmith and co-founder of The Comedy Embassy, Tim performed at our very first Kartoffel show and is back to headline the finale. A recovering cynic, accidental hipster, and all-around smartass, Tim sees the world as a meaningless yet fascinating playground – and he’s here to make you laugh about it.
🎤 Rachel Morton-Young (your regular host) is a lively and engaging British comedian based in Utrecht. As the founder of Mad Cow Comedy, she hosts and performs across the Netherlands and beyond, bringing sharp wit and high energy to every stage.
