At Te Awa, we love a good excuse to dress up, and International Colour Day is the perfect one. 🌈International Colour Day is celebrated around the world to highlight how colour impacts our emotions, creativity and sense of wellbeing. Colour connects people, lifts moods, and helps us express who we are, values that fit beautifully with what parkrun is all about! 💛
So on Saturday 21 March, we’re inviting everyone to help us celebrate by wearing as much colour as possible. Whether it’s rainbow socks, bright tutus, colourful capes, bold face paint or simply your most vibrant running kit, let’s turn the river path into a joyful burst of colour. Dressing up is optional, but highly encouraged! 🌈
