Intern to work information session

Are you 16 to 25 years old and feel you need some additional support into employment? Would you like to gain valuable work experience with an employer across Liverpool?

You might be interested in our Intern to work programme! The Intern to Work programme, will give you a supported internship which is a work based Study Programmes for 16 to 25 year olds with SEND.

This is where you can apply to undertake a work placement lasting 6 months where you will gain real life hands on experience in a workplace setting. A supported job coach will guide you every step of the way. On this programme the Interns will also enrol full time at a local college which will give them a personalised study programme, including English and Maths. The intern to work programme will give the young people a much needed boost with the hope of them finding part time or full time work by the end of it.

Job coaches work with employers to help them create and support a diverse workforce. Interns usually spend between four and five days a week at work with their job coach.

If you are a young person aged 16 to 25 with Special Educationa Needs and Disabilities or a parent/ carer join our free online introduction on teams to find out more information.
