About this Event
This course will be split over two weekends, the first two days will be April 5th and 6th, the last two days will be April 12th and 13th. Meet in Clairmont Hall, C-138.
Must attend all 4 days to receive certificate.
This course provides the student with the basic skills to determine the characteristics of fuels (vegetation) when involved in a wildland fire, the effects weather has on a wildland fire, the various topographic features that impact wildland fire and the fire behavior patterns of a wildland fire.
Course meets the intent of NWCG PMS-901-1 Instructor Led Training (32 hours)
Clackamas Community College is a recognized Region 6 MOU training provider. All fire classes sponsored by CCC meet or exceed federal NWCG standards. Upon successful course completion students will receive Certificates of Completion from Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, Oregon.
