About this Event
Intermediate Watercolor: Making Watercolors That Sing
“What is important is how to respond to what is before us, and in order to do that we need to identify what makes our hearts sing. Good painting is the result of close observation and your thoughtful response.” -Mary Whyte
In this class students explore what goes into creating a satisfying watercolor. Technical skill can be learned, but a big part of the secret of painting a successful watercolor lies in cultivating the capacity to see.
With a little practice, some practical knowledge and a willingness to learn, almost anyone can learn to be a successful watercolorist. Come explore the possibilities of what can be done with this rich and luminous medium! $65
(This class is mainly for those who already have some familiarity and experience with watercolor and who want to take what they already know further.)
