About this Event
This workshop will develop and enhance your skills in Tiffany stained glass by allowing you to work on a more advanced level project selected by you. At the start of the session we will examine your project for any complexities or challenges and refine it to ensure it can be completed successfully during the one day workshop or completed at home where you have the tools and equipment.
At the end of the workshop you will have a deeper understanding of:-
- creating and refining a stained glass cartoon (pattern)
- cutting glass to a specific design
- grozing and grinding glass shapes
- applying copper foil
- assembling and soldering
- applying findings/hooks and hangers
- patinating and polishing
This course is perfect for anyone who has completed the beginners workshop or those with some experience of completing a Tiffany stained glass project. If you do not have any experience the beginners course in this collection will be more suitable or email with any queries.
The workshop will run from 10am to 4pm with a break for lunch.
Tea, coffee and light refreshments are provided and participants bring their own lunch.
