Intermediate Salsa is back at Candela for the month of November!Join us for a 3-week Intermediate Salsa series on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. starting Nov. 5
Prerequisite: Beginning Salsa or equivalent Salsa experience (must be comfortable with fundamentals including timing, basic turns and cross-body leads).
No partner needed. Classes are taught by Melissa.
The cost is $40 for the series (drop-ins are allowed for $15)
*** CLASS DESCRIPTION ***
We will move quickly in this class, warming up with shines but primarily focusing on partnerwork.
We'll cover the fun "sliding doors" move (behind-the-back pass), and review copas, snapouts, cross-body lead variations and new moves - enrollees will have input on which of these we focus on.
Prior to the first class, we are taking requests: If there's a move you'd like to learn, send us a video!
Our goal is to DANCE more than talk, and offer intensive individual feedback aimed at building your proficiency on the social-dance floor. We want our students to be dreamy leaders and followers :)
