🎉 Ready to level up your wheel throwing skills?Join us for Throw BIG – or Stay Home!, a focused workshop all about making larger forms on the pottery wheel.
This class is designed for potters who can already center clay and are ready to push their limits. You’ll learn tips and techniques for handling bigger amounts of clay, throwing taller and wider forms, and keeping them strong and balanced.
🌀 In this 90 min session, you’ll:
• Learn strategies for prepping and centering more clay
• Practice pulling taller walls and expanding wider bowls
• Experiment with forms that go beyond your usual comfort zone
💡 Members of The Wheel House can bring their own clay and keep as much as they like.
Non-members will be provided with clay and may choose to keep finished pieces for $20 each, which covers trimming, glazing, two firings, and studio finishing.
🎯 This is the perfect class if you’ve mastered the basics and are ready to scale up your skills!
