This intermediate course is for those with basic painting and drawing skills as well as more advanced painters. You are invited to bring your ideas, sketches, unfinished projects, and questions. Our friendly, supportive community will provide you with endless sources of inspiration, support and friendly critiques. This class will help to further your understanding of color and composition, mass shapes, value, painting mechanics and materials. Explore how using 2, 3 or 4 value notans and blocking in techniques help you to create a strong foundation. A flexible supply list will be sent when the class is determined to run: water mixable oils and traditional oils (no solvents).
