About me:
With more then 300 students and 3000 lessons taught, I am proud to say teaching has become a passion for me. Language instruction should not only mean teaching other people. It is also about getting to know new people, different cultures, sharing experiences and ideas.
The most important apsects of how I see teaching:
Motivation: Waking up curiosity in students about the language. This could come from various sources: It could be hobbies, personal interests, people you know or you would like to know, every day situations that still mean a challenge. By designing lessons around the personal needs of students, learning another language can be rewarding even after a couple of classes.
Experience: Plunge into everyday situations is vital. Learning a language is most effective when you can practice in real life. Teaching should not be confined to the classroom. I regularly take students to the market and other places, where they can meet local people and practice their recently learned skills in a supporting environment.
Making mistakes: Learning a language is a process of trial and error. Part of my method is to make students dare to speak. I always tell my students that the sooner they learn to make mistakes, the sooner they will learn the language.
Practice: Learning a language is like constructing a building, it takes work and patience. Using your existing experience all we need to do is practice, practice and practice. If you do this, step by step, you will discover the beauty of this unique language.
My aim is to support students to be able to thrive in using Hungarian in various situations.
Hope see you soon,
Cheers ?
