This intermediate class is for those with soldering and basic jewelry fabrication skills who want to perfect their setting technique.

 Time: 11:30 pm-4 pm 

Ages: 18 & up  

Price: $100 + $20 Kit fee (see bold below)

(The PREREQUISITE for this class is Bezel Setting Cabochon and The Jeweler's Saw or prior experience with both)

In this Intermediate/Advanced stone setting course students will expand basic bezel setting skills to include bezel setting squares, trillium, teardrops and irregular shaped cabochons in closed and open back settings. We’ll utilize jeweler’s saw skills and navigate step bezel and thicker bezel strip in sterling, fine silver and copper.

Please note: If you’d like to bring a cabochon of your own, feel free to do so. If the length or width is over 18mm, please bring your choice of metal backing plate in 24 gauge to accommodate that size. Sterling silver backing plate will be provided in class for stones under 18mm.

There is a supply kit fee made payable to the teacher day of class by cash or check. Please come prepared to pay this fee.
