Our Intermediate Course starting January 6th & 7th, 2026 is NOW OPEN for enrolment and places are limited!This 10 week art course is perfect if you’ve completed our Beginner Course or have a foundation in art and want to keep building your skills. We start with drawing still life, and getting more expressive with your art. We then take you through more technical aspects of drawing and painting, such as perspective and texture. We also include some open discussion about artworks, and culminate the course with a final larger piece of your own choosing.
You’ll learn:
• Gestural drawing
• Still life drawing and painting
• Textural painting, layering, and glazing
• Crafting your own abstract images
• Drawing perspective
• Composition
• How to grid a small image onto a large canvas
• How to begin a major work
📆 Choose from 3 weekly sessions:
Tuesday 9:30am – 12pm (limited spaces)
Tuesday 6:30pm – 9pm
Wednesday 6:30pm – 9pm
(Students attend just one session per week)
