#Who can join/Prerequisites*
This workshop is for movers who already have a consistent handstand practice and are ready to refine their skills beyond the basics. If you can balance on your own for a few seconds, or hold a handstand for 30–60 seconds with the support of a wall or spotter, this workshop is for you.

#Workshop focus
🔹Transitions between fundamental handstand shapes (tuck, straddle, pike, straight)
🔹Developing control, fluidity, and awareness while moving in balance
🔹Introduction to presses and progressions towards press-to-handstand
🔹Fine-tuning alignment and technique for efficiency and longevity
The focus will be on precision, clean movement, and intelligent training strategies that will support you in taking your handstand practice to the next level.

#Meet the Teacher: Nikoleta Koutitsa – experienced handstand teacher & professional dancer
Nikoleta is a professional contemporary dancer from Greece, now based in Berlin. She’s been performing since 2014 and has recently added partner acrobatics and handstands to her practice.
If you take a look at her Instagram @acro.hands.niko, you might think that she’s forgotten how to stand on her feet ‒ that’s how much handstand content you will find.
Handstands are her personal playground: a time to explore tiny details, refine movement, and grow. She brings that same joy into her teaching, helping other adults discover what their bodies can do upside-down. She approaches movement with a playful mindset, using awareness as both a creative tool and a path to personal growth.
In Berlin Nikoleta teaches handstand classes on a weekly basis and now we are excited to have her teaching two workshops here in Copenhagen.
