This 6-week course is the perfect introduction for anyone building, renovating, or refreshing their home.
Discover the principles of interior design and decorating, and learn how to make confident, informed decisions to elevate your living spaces.
Develop your understanding of space, mood and function while learning how to choose finishes, plan rooms, reduce clutter and style your home.

- Product tour and group discussion

- Lighting styles, functions and placement
- Activity: furniture layouts
WEEK 3
- Product tour and group discussion
- Effective layouts for kitchens, bathrooms and laundries
- Choosing finishes, hardware and fittings
- Activity: mood board creation
WEEK 4
- A guide to effective storage
- Activity: storage planning
- Window treatments and styling tips
- Fabric types and working with patterns
WEEK 5
- Introduction to colour theory
- Key colour schemes, relationships and meanings
- Current colour trends and how to use them
- Activity: colour relationships
WEEK 6
- Interior styles and themes
- A guide to furniture
- Styling walls — wallpaper, artwork and mirrors
- Activity: vision board creation
