About this Event
Join JCC East Bay's First Ever Intergenerational Holiday Gathering!
In a first-of-it's-kind collaboration, the JCC East Bay preschool has joined forced with our Community Engagement Department for an Intergenerational Chanukah Lantern Walk bringing together our preschool kids, their parents, and our older adult community!
Who says Christmas carolers get to have all the fun? Help us fill the air with Chanukah cheer!
We will begin by gathering at the JCC for coffee and hot cocoa and a caroling practice before embarking on a short (less than one mile) walk around our neighborhood. Our preschoolers will light the way with lanterns they made in class, and we will all join our voices in lively Chanukah songs. Lanterns for parents and older adults will be provided!
Date: Wednesday December 18th
Time: 4:30pm to 5:30pm
Location: JCC East Bay (1414 Walnut Street)
