Come and be a part of our unique choir event that brings together people of all ages and cultural backgrounds! This is a wonderful opportunity to sing, learn, and connect with others in your community.

Facilitator: We are excited to have Bruce, a renowned Zimbabwean artist, leading our choir. Bruce is a Zimbabwean artist who specialises in teaching traditional songs from Zimbabwe/Southern Africa in 3 to 6 part harmonies. Bruce has travelled extensively all over the United Kingdom where he’s firmly established. Much of Bruce’s recent work involves major festivals & events such as The Natural Voice Network Annual Gathering, WOMAD, African Drum Village, World Music and Workshop Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Edinburgh Mela, Alrewas Arts Festival…The songs and harmonies that he teaches are emotionally charged and uplifting, designed to build participants' confidence with singing. His method of teaching is in the traditional oral/aural way; reminiscent of when people would gather around a fire in the evenings or whilst working in the fields and start weaving harmonies. His workshops are inclusive and participatory and one does not need to be experienced in singing to take part in them.
