RED VEIN is now hiring for the 2025 season! This interest meeting will take place at RED VEIN Escape in downtown Ashland during Ashland Fourth Fridays.If you have an insatiable love for scaring and the Halloween season, a strong work ethic, reliable transportation and availability 5/6 weekends throughout September & October, then we're YOUR haunt! RED VEIN is a professional attraction and filled with dedicated haunters who are part of both our cast and front of house crew. We can't wait to meet YOU!

Q: What is an interest meeting?
A: During these interest meetings, you’ll be given a quick informational sheet to fill out on who you are and your availability. Then we’ll chat a little bit about your experience and the opportunities we have available.
Q: If I've worked with RED VEIN Haunt in the past, will I need to fill out an application again?
A: Yes! The process resets every season and we have a new schedule, new policies, and need your availability.
Q: Where will this take place?
A. RED VEIN Escape (108 Robinson Street, Ashland, VA 23005). You can park across from the escape room at the public library.
Q: What if I can't make this meeting?
A: This is the final public interest meeting, so please DM us ASAP to schedule a phone interview.
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Be prepared to chat with us about your haunt experience or interest. You'll also need an idea about your availability during haunt season. If you want to be part of our makeup or costume teams, please bring a portfolio that shows off your work.
Q: Do I need haunt acting experience?
A: Experience is helpful, but not required. A good attitude and willingness to try new things is what’s important.
Q: Do I need to be there the whole time?
A: You may show up at any point.
Q: How old do I need to be?
A: You must be at least 17 to apply.
Q: What is the pay?
A: $13-$15/hour, which also includes $$$ bonuses (depending on availability) and perks (we provide dinner every night) and discounts on merch, as well as our escape games and ghost tours!
