About this Event
Against the backdrop of the increased interest in finding novel and alternative ways of tackling theoretical and practical issues across business and management scholarship, this workshop aims to provide insights into conceptual and practical opportunities and challenges of combining theoretical and methodological approaches from across disciplines. While interdisciplinarity is increasingly perceived as a step in the right direction - particularly for tacking large societal challenges such as sustainability, climate change or demographic changes – doing interdisciplinary work is often challenging both from the perspective of theorising and publishing, and from the translation of research findings into practical, impactful outcomes.
In this workshop participants will hear from researchers from different Universities, Schools and disciplines who all share the passion and experience in pursuing interdisciplinary research. In spirit of interdisciplinarity, the workshop is open for all academic members of UEBS community, and will feature talks from across a variety of methodological and theoretical approaches. We are particularly keen on attracting and including ECR and PhD community in the workshop.
