Bea is a young woman who fights for our climate, without violence but by using her time, body and voice.
Today she will tell us about why civil insubordination is necessary in a well functioning democracy and what it means for society if politicians don’t focus on solving today’s problems.
Non-violent civil insubordination is the democratic tool that Extinction Rebellion has chosen to create attention to the climate collapse and to create a dialogue with the system. But exactly how that works, who the people are and why they take up the fight is something Bea will tell us more about.
