Profoto is excited to present an exciting hands-on workshop featuring the best in Fashion, Wedding and Portrait photography and featuring the Power of the Profoto B10X, B10X Plus and A10.
Learn the ins and outs of capturing stunning images alongside your fellow photographers. Our expert instructors, including award-winning photographer Sean Leblanc will guide you through techniques, lighting tips, and posing tricks to elevate your photography game. Don't miss this opportunity to hone your skills and network with fellow creatives.
The workshop participants will be broken up into even groups, and as the day progresses you will be challenged with 4 different lighting scenarios featuring Wedding and Portrait. Each lighting scenario will feature a mentor, each with a unique style, and your group will have time to plan, set up, and photograph a model.
At the end of the workshop, each group will submit their best images taken throughout the day and the winning team will receive some exciting prizes.

Additional Information
Attendees will be depart by bus from the Vistek store downtown at 8:00 am and will head to The Alpine Club of Canada in the city of Canmore. Attendees will depart Canmore at 5:30 pm and dropped off back at the Vistek downtown location at approximately 6:45 pm.
Group Leaders
Profoto is looking for 4 group leaders who can take charge of their group as well as bringing their own laptop for minor editing purposes of the images taken during the day.

Group Leaders will be tasked to drive their team to success by helping their group stick to the schedule, work through shooting challenges and present the best images taken from each setup.
Gear
You can bring your own camera. However, there will be the option to borrow a limited amount of cameras and lenses (with photo ID and credit card) from Nikon Canada who will have reps onsite. Profoto will also provide the SD cards for the cameras to store the pictures that will be taken throughout the day.
Q&A, Snacks, and Announcement of Prize Winners
- By participating in this, you will have chance to win prize at the end of the evening. The best photo will be selected by the featured photographers and the Profoto team.
- Sandwiches, snacks including veg options and soft drinks along with water, coffee and tea will be provided throughout the day in the cafe area.

About Sean LeBlanc
"Sean LeBlanc is a multi-award-winning internationally acclaimed photographer specializing in creative wedding photography, fine art portraiture and photographer education. Inspired by light and shadow, Sean creates imagery that is bold, candid, sensitive and dramatic. After an established career as an engineer MBA at a multi-billion-dollar company, Sean found his true calling for people and photography. He resigned from the corporate world to pursue his passion for photography and built a luxury wedding and portrait studio. His passion for photography has taken him from his hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, all over the world. Sean has been named one of the top wedding photographers in Canada by several organizations and published in articles by the Professional Photographers of America, SLR Lounge, Fstoppers, Magmod and the Huffington Post. Sean is a proud ambassador for Graphistudio Italy and Magmod USA.
